Security at BeClose is built into authentication, transport encryption, room access, WebRTC media handling, and infrastructure controls.
Encryption
Traffic uses TLS, data at rest is encrypted, and WebRTC media streams use secure real-time transport encryption.
Authentication and access
Google OAuth is used for passwordless authentication with minimum required scopes and signed session tokens.
Infrastructure security
Cloud hosting, network controls, monitoring, hardened configuration, and vulnerability reviews protect the service.
Real-time communication
WebRTC uses peer-to-peer connections when possible and authenticated TURN relay when needed.
